Munch’s Supply Acquires Michigan-based Tommark Company.
 

Munch’s Supply, a leading Midwest-based heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) distributor has acquired Tommark Company and its six Michigan branches. This will expand the company’s geographic footprint to 24 locations, including 12 Munch’s Supply branches in Chicago, Northwest Indiana and Michigan along with six O’Connor Company branches in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri.

“Tommark has a great team in place and we look forward to expanding into new product and customer segments,” said Munch’s CEO Robert Munch. “We are excited to further develop our company’s presence in the state of Michigan through Tommark’s convenient locations. Superior, award-winning customer service remains our number-one priority.”

The union of these two companies demonstrates Munch’s ongoing commitment to the HVAC marketplace and reinforces its commitment to partner with family and customer-service focused businesses. Munch and Tommark will combine to operate nine branches in Michigan.

Munch’s Supply has been operating in the Chicagoland area since 1956. Rotunda Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on lower middle-market and family-owned holdings, acquired a majority stake in Munch’s in 2015.
