Klein Tools Searches for
the 2014 “Head of the Class” Instructor of the Year.
Grand prize winner will receive $1,000 in cash and the training
center will receive $1,000 in Klein tools.
Klein Tools for professionals since 1857, is on a quest to find and
reward the 2014 “Head of the Class” instructor of the year. This new
award seeks to honor a deserving electrical or HVAC instructor who
has made a difference in the lives of the people they teach as well
as their community. The award is based on three criteria: master of
the craft, classroom/lab experience and community dedication. Six
regional winners will be selected by Klein Tools. These six regional
winners and their stories will be posted online where people can
vote for the grand prize winner.
Anyone can nominate a deserving instructor online at
www.kleintools.com/HOTC. The Head of the Class award search runs
August 1 through September 1, 2014 and is based in the United States
only. Klein Tools will select six regional winners September 15th.
Each “Head of the Class” regional winner will receive $500 in cash
and $500 in Klein tools for the training center.

From the six
regional winners, one grand prize winner will be chosen by
voters online. Voting ends October 5th. Votes will be tabulated
and the grand prize winner will be announced on or around
October 7th. The grand prize winner will receive another $500 in
cash as well as an extra $500 in new Klein tools for the
training center. In addition, students in the grand prize
winner’s fall 2014 class will receive the Klein Back-to-School
Kit, a $50 value, which includes:
• 1 Klein insulated Beverage Hauler
• 1 pair of Klein safety glasses
• 1 Klein hi-viz t-shirt
• 1 Klein flash drive
• 6 Klein carpenter’s pencils
