WinWholesale acquires
majority interest in Carr Supply.
WinWholesale Inc. has obtained a majority interest in a new
partnership with Carr Supply and Carr Supply of Michigan. Carr
Supply is a Columbus, Ohio-based wholesale distributor of plumbing
and HVAC supplies and equipment, and water well supplies. The
company also installs shower doors and closet systems.
The former owners of the company have retained their key management
positions and a substantial equity stake in the new partnership.
The transaction, which closed Feb. 1, created a new company that
will continue the Carr Supply name and operate as its own entity
with the same management team that has provided superior service to
contractor customers.
Carr Supply has 13 locations in Ohio and two in Michigan.
WinWholesale is one of the nation’s largest distributors of supplies
and materials to residential and commercial construction and
industrial markets. It now has nearly 550 locations in 45 states.
